episode 6
The colors of fall are upon us.
IT HAS BEEN HARD TO ORGANIZE OUR THOUGHTS THIS MORNING, AFTER THE HORRIBLE WINDS DAY AND NIGHT, ANNOUNCING ANOTHER DEVASTATING FIRE IN SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. TORTURE AND STINGING TEARS BRING ME TO THE REALIZATION THAT THE NEWS CAMERAS HAVE FLASHED ON PHOTOS OF PLACES WE HAVE LIVED AND LOVED, NOW ON FIRE TEARING DEEPLY AT THE DEPTH OF BEING. WE ARE LIVING TO SEE PEACE AND SOME SERENITY, SO WE PRAY AND WALK IN THE GARDEN ENJOYING ALL THAT IT PRESENT’S IN IT’S GARDEN MAGIC.
WHEN OUR CHILDREN WERE LIVING WITH US, EACH YEAR WE WOULD HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME CUTTING INTO THE JUICIEST, MOST PLUMP TOMATOES ON OUR TABLE, COLLECTING THE SEEDS TO BE DRIED AND PLANTED IN NEXT YEARS CROP. HOPEFULLY IN THE PHOTO WE CAPTURED THE VARIOUS TOMATOES AVAILABLE.
We wanted to share the pictures of our Tomato Horn Worm. It lives among the bright green leaves of the tomato plant. Caterpillars are harmless to people, and can easily be removed from plants without danger to humans. We are going to continue to add more pictures of our garden walk this morning,
This little spot is where we love to sit and enjoy when we are in the garden. How did it get here? Who shared this? There is no history, so we will hopefully continue to enjoy. Thank you for coming along.

Those tomato worms seem to come from no where, and eat everything on the bushes just as quickly! I remember my mother growing big, juicy tomatoes. When she sliced them, the aroma would sail throughout the house.
