WELCOME TO GLACIER BAY NATIONAL PARK AND PRESERVE. BLOG # 5

We spent the day cruising Glacier Bay in Alaska. The sights along the way had cruisers glued to the passing scene. The story will be best told through photos. Missing from the photos are our humpback whale sightings with waving tails, bald eagle fly byes, and a few otters. Manuel saw through his binoculars, a big brown bear across the bay.

Along the way:

Oh BOYI see that you are finally using the fisheye setting.

These stories are all so compelling. Thanks for sharing.

Our lovely President had a major conference today to talk about global warming. If only someone had listened to Al Gore in the late 80’s, Alaska might be better off today! Oh well live and learn (or not)!!!

Your photos, adventures, and wise commentaries are so on-point! I so appreciate our friendship and thank you for sharing these blogs with me.

As a new bird totem, may I suggest you take on the hummingbird’s message of absolute joy, lightness of being, hope & playfulness; to bury one’s nose more deeply & inhale the sweetness of nectar all around & within us; to magically move one’s body swiftly, tirelessly & change direction smoothly & effortlessly; persistency & resiliency in the pursuit of creativity, dreams & goals….skills you already have but can further embrace?
    Luv,
    JOYCE

Thank you for your most wonderful and insightful comments. I took to heart the humming bird which is beautiful and creative, but alas, I have chosen The Raven for this time in my life. I will hold dear the hummingbird thoughts. The humming may serve you well for a time. Let me know. Thank you!
